Event Description:
Career Exploration is designed to introduce students 9-12 to programs available at LCC and have the valuable opportunity to spend time with a knowledgeable business representative who is an expert in the business field in which they are exploring.
Students will be divided by field of interest for a tour of the LCC program of their selection beforehand. Following the tour they will return to the Center for Meeting and Learning. Students will spend an hour in a small group discussion with a business representative. The business representative will spend a few minutes sharing about their career and business. The remainder of the hour will be spent interviewing the business representative, gaining insight into the characteristics of the industry and specifics on how to prepare for their future career.
