CHAMBER ROUNDTABLE: INSIGHTS INTO INNOVATION
AN INSIDE LOOK AT THE UNIVERSITY OF OREGON'S PHIL AND PENNY KNIGHT CAMPUS FOR ACCELERATING SCIENTIFIC IMPACT
Innovation doesn't happen in isolation. It grows through collaboration between researchers, educators, entrepreneurs, industry partners, and the broader business community.
This month's Chamber Roundtable will provide an inside look at the Knight Campus, where scientific discovery is being translated into new technologies, startup ventures, and workforce opportunities. Callie Johnston, the Assistant Vice President for Development and Chief Development Officer for the Knight Campus, will discuss the campus's mission, its approach to accelerating innovation, and the role it plays in supporting entrepreneurship and industry partnerships. Following the conversation, participants will take a guided tour of the Knight Campus, highlighting the spaces, programs, and collaborations that make this work possible.
The Roundtable + Tour will showcase how the campus supports innovation and commercialization, providing attendees with insight into how research has real-world applications that create businesses, jobs, and economic opportunity.
If you're interested in entrepreneurship, workforce development, emerging technologies, or the future of our regional economy, this Roundtable + Tour offers an exciting chance to see one of Oregon's leading innovation hubs through a business and economic development lens.
