Edward McGlone from Lane Transit District will bring the committee up to speed on the Transportation planning being discussed at the Legislature in Salem. Also the committee will discuss member survey question focused around advocacy.
About the committee:
Open to all Chamber members, the Government Issues Committee members study pending legislation and recommend advocacy and action to impact laws and regulations on local, regional and state levels. The committee also organizes Candidates' Forums and the Springfield Leadership Workshop. The Committee Meets the second and fourth Tuesdays.
