Event Description:
November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and it is your time to write binge-write your novel! During NaNoWriMo 2013, 310,095 national participants started the month as auto mechanics, out-of-work actors, and middle school English teachers. They walked away novelists.

In November, the Springfield Library will be hosting programs to support the efforts of these fledgling authors.

Bi-Weekly Write-In Workshops - November 4 & 18, 5:30-7:30 pm
The write-in is a gathering of writers and NaNoWriMo participants who are working on current creative writing projects. There may be timed writings to keep focused and brief discussions to resolve issues with characters, settings or plots. Participants should bring writing materials and a current writing project. Open to the public.

Come Write-In (the mid-way party!) November 15, 12:30-4:30 pm
The Come Write-In is a gathering of participants in NaNoWriMo. The event is open to the public. Youth must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This is a time to celebrate the half-way mark in this November Noveling Marathon. There will be timed writings, writing challenges, and word-based games. Bring your writing materials and current writing project.
