For the first time, the Top 35 Professional Bull Riders will roll into Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon, for the Wrangler Long Live Cowboys Classic, part of the elite PBR Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS).
Eugene will be one of only four-regular season events left until the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas. Currently, 18 riders are separated by 590.33 total world points, making this event crucial in the chase to win the PBR World Championship.
The two-day event will feature a fierce competition among the world’s Top 35, including the two-time and reigning PBR World Champion J.B. Mauney, three-time World Champion.
Silvano Alves (2011-12, 2014), 2008 World Champion Guilherme Marchi and 2004 World Champion Mike Lee. This is the only chance in 2016 that the Pacific Northwest will get to be on the edge of their seats watching PBR’s toughest athletes take on their bovine opponents live. The riders will put it all on the line for a piece of the $140,000 payout as they come face to face with competitors 10 times their size.
