January 19th will be a combined Government Issues and Economic Development Committee meeting at our new Government Issues Committee home, the Gateway Taphouse at 3198 Gateway Street beginning at 7:00am. Normally the committee would be ordering from the menu but they will be creating a breakfast buffet for this very special occasion. We were originally scheduled for January 12th but received a speaking request from U.S. Congressman Peter Defazio for January 19th. We still await final confirmation and as soon as we get that, we will put out an official meeting announcement with Agendas and Minutes for the perspective committees. The room can hold up to 60 people and many members would like to attend so please RSVP early to reserve your space.
The Gateway Taphouse opens to the public at 8:00am but will be open for our committee meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 7:00am. This meeting will replace our meeting on the second Tuesday so the Government Issues Committee will meet again on January 26th.
