Event Description:
Children are invited to practice their independent reading skills by reading aloud to a dog from Greenhill. The dog(s) are accompanied by a skilled volunteer from Greenhill. This is designed to be a private time, just child and dog, to provide a gentle and nonjudgmental audience for the child to practice their reading-aloud skills.
No registration is required for this program. Upon arrival, participants should sign in for a time slot at the Children’s Reference Desk. Additional time may be available depending on demand that day.
