Name: Reading Education Assistance Dogs (READ) Program - Springfield Public Library
Date: December 22, 2014 - January 3, 2015
Event Description:
Sign up for an intimate, 15 minute story share with one of these amazing READing Dogs.

Children and their parents are invited to sign up for a 15 minute time slot to read to Teddy or Foreman, two amazing therapy dogs, and their trainers. Reading to others is wonderful way to increase children’s reading skills and these dogs provide a fluffy, enthusiastic, and attentive audience.

We recommend that children signing up are at a reading level that allows them to read aloud and independently to the dog. However, adult-child reading duos are also welcome.
