On Thursday, February 5 the Springfield Chamber of Commerce Education Committee in partnership with the Springfield School District are joining forces once again to present the “Real Game of Life” for several hundred 5th graders. The event will take place at Briggs Middle School with instructions and refreshments for adults beginning at 8:15 a.m. and the game running from 8:45a.m. to 12:50 p.m. A limited number of opportunities are available for enthusiastic people to volunteer as adult team members paired with a few impressionable 5th graders and an 8th grade helper to play the Real Game of Life. The life-size interactive game gives students a fun opportunity to understand some of life’s possibilities. As you advance through the game, the goal is to gather “happy chips,” earned by achieving good health, gathering friendships, and accumulating education and training experiences.
We will have a Game of Life at Hamlin during the same time. sign up
We will also have a Games of Life at Agnes Stewart and Thurston Middle School on February 13.
