Willow-Witt Resilient Forestry Tour, a guided forest walk highlighting the healthy ecosystems created through sustainable forest management is led by Suzanne Willow and Lanita Witt, owners of Willow-Witt Ranch. This event happens Saturday, July 28th at Willow-Witt Ranch, located 30 minutes from Ashland, OR, from 11:30am-3:00 pm. The Resilient Forestry Tour features a working forest and wetland, and highlights management practices focusing on environmental protection longevity, wildlife and botanical biodiversity, and carbon storage. The event also shows how sustainable forest management can be used to sequester carbon and sustain healthy air and water in the face of climate change. Come enjoy a walk through a resilient forest while learning about their importance and appreciating their beauty. There is a registration fee of $10 that includes a light lunch and transportation to Ashland. Register at beyondtoxics.org. This is a family friendly event, but please no dogs.
