The Community Center for the Performing Arts, a nonprofit membership organization, serves as the steward for our historic arts and culture venue and it has been a cornerstone of Eugene's vibrant arts scene since 1975.
Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive space where people from all walks of life can come together to enjoy live shows, engage in creative expression, and build a stronger community.
The WOW (Woodmen of the World) Hall was built in 1932 during the depths of the Great Depression with $10,000 and a vision of providing support to members and their families.
We often hear comments from artists, volunteers, and patrons that they love being in the WOW Hall because of its unique historic ambiance. Our hardwood “floating” dance floor, our professional sound system, stage lighting and adaptability make for an ideal place for live performances, rental space, classes, community gatherings, weddings, and more. We can accommodate up to 600 guests, feature local artists in our gallery, and have a downstairs beer garden, so our upstairs Hall remains an all-ages venue. We are dedicated to promoting local and national talent and supporting emerging artists.
